Useful tips for riding a bike in Thailand.
Attention : From 01.07.2010 it is obligate for your passenger to wear a helmet too.

Phuket's main streets are basically in good condition and with sufficient signal and road signs .
Motorbikes on Phuket are the most widely used vehicles, which is the best to choose for a personal trip.
However, we recommend renting only for persons who have a little bit of experience riding a bike
on Thailand's roads.
Principle is therefore to recommend a cautious and proactive behavior.

Absolute helmets compulsory for the driver and the passengers in Phuket.
Failure will be punished by the Thai police with a mandate. (500 - 1000 Bath)

You need an international driving license category A & A1, the police will check it.
